Rob and his new look mentioned in NY Daily News

I saw the title of this article and had to chuckle and say “Seriously?” I decided to post this if for no other reason but to say “no way will he lose his star power”. Well that and I have never seen him look so sexy. 😉 Short hair…long hair…it doesn’t matter. He’s a brilliant actor. That is all.

Twilight’s’ Robert Pattinson cuts hair for new role, could he lose his star power in the process?

Twi-hards may consider him a deity, but hopefully Robert Pattinson won’t suffer the same fate as Samson.

The “Twilight” star who is known for his lustrous locks as much as his thirst for blood premiered a shorter ‘do on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” show Wednesday.

Could RPattz suffer the same fate as biblical character Samson, who lost all his power when he chopped off his hair?

Pattinson’s new cut boasts short sides and back, though a bit of length as been maintained on top.

The 24-year-old star quipped that he was forced to chop off his hair over a medical problem.

“It’s three days old,” he told the host. “I got a terrible infestation of nits and had to shave it all off.”

“No you did not,” Ellen replied. “Don’t start that rumor.”

It turns out Pattinson cut off his brunette mop for his new role, a Depression-era drama called “Water for Elephants,” which co-stars Reese Witherspoon.
