  1. I am a Canadian woman who was grief stricken and horrified at the terrible destruction of 9/11. I saw the first plane hit the World Trade Center tower on that morning of September 11 2001. The memory is as clear as though it happened today. There are no words that can describe the horror of those hours. My heart and sympathy went out to all the people so affected by the death of loved ones. The people in the towers…the people in the attacking planes…the people on the ground and city streets have caused me many nightmares over the years…and even more nightmares thinking of all the people who gave up their lives trying to help. I hope and pray that such a terrible death toll and such wanton destruction never happens again. My own family are American Citizens in Maine…and their horror and grief was on par with all other Americans.
